Music Ministry Vision

Winterville First Baptist Church loves to sing! Everyone is encouraged to participate in congregational singing at each designated church worship service. The Bible presents music as an integral part of worship: "Let the word of Christ dwell in  you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord" (Colossians 3:16). Winterville First Baptist Church uses a variety of music styles in each worship service as we seek to apply this scripture.

Winterville First Baptist Church is blessed with many talented people who are involved in exalting the Lord through our music ministry.

The Church Choir is the primary worship leading group for both the Sunday morning and evening worship services. The choir also presents special musical programs such as an Easter musical and Christmas musical.

Other groups such as the Children's Choir, Mixed Vocal Ensemble, Youth Band, and Handbells involve many people in sharing special music at various worship services and special events.
