A Note From the Pastor

Let me take this week’s column to say a great big “THANK YOU” to so many people who worked hard to make Homecoming a great success:

·         David and Wendy Jones-We are indebted to them for their creative genius in the area of graphic design.  They worked alongside me in creating the new worship guide design as well as the newsletter design.  They worked many long hours and coordinated issues with the printers too.

·         Palmer Rehberg, Ron Mize, Josh Mosley, Susan Robinson, and Vicki Long-Your staff worked extra hours doing everything to make sure the new signs were up, the worship service was prepared, and the new worship guide looked just right.

·         Hospitality Committee-These folks worked all week making sure the Christian Life Center looked beautiful with flowers and table cloths and that we had plenty of delicious food to eat. Others saw that historical items from our church were on display. 

·         Properties Committee-The Properties Committee made sure that our buildings and grounds looked inviting for all of our members and guests.  They helped to make sure all of our signs with the new logo were in the right places as well.

·         Homecoming Planning Committee-This committee has been meeting months in advance to make sure everything worked together without any glitches.

Thanks to all of you!  I appreciate your servant attitude.
